Terms of Service – Wats

Last Updated: March 27, 2026 These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Wats website, platform, and services. By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

1. About the Service

Wats is a software platform that helps businesses manage commercial conversations, WhatsApp business messaging, team collaboration, automation, analytics, and integrations with Meta and other services.

2. Eligibility

You may use the Service only if you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement, authorized to act on behalf of the business you represent, and your use complies with applicable laws, platform rules, and these Terms.

3. Accounts and Registration

You may need to create an account or authenticate using an approved login method. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, update your information when it changes, and remain responsible for activities under your account.

4. Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with third-party providers including Meta, WhatsApp, AI providers, payment providers, and infrastructure providers. Your use of such services may be subject to their own terms and policies. Wats is not responsible for the availability, content, or policies of third-party providers.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to: violate any law or regulation, infringe the rights of others, send unlawful or spam content, interfere with the security or availability of the Service, attempt unauthorized access to systems or data, or misuse integrations or violate Meta/WhatsApp policies. You are solely responsible for the content, messages, contacts, and workflows you manage through the Service.

6. Customer Data

You may submit, store, transmit, or process data through the Service. You remain responsible for Customer Data processed by you or your users, including ensuring a lawful basis for processing, providing required notices, and complying with all applicable laws.

7. Meta and WhatsApp Compliance

If you use Wats with Meta, Facebook Login, or WhatsApp: you must comply with all applicable Meta and WhatsApp terms and policies, use approved permissions and flows only, not misuse platform or user data, and ensure your use case is compliant. Wats may suspend or restrict certain features to maintain compliance.

8. Fees and Subscriptions

Some features may require a paid subscription. If you subscribe to a paid plan, you agree to pay applicable fees. Billing cycles, renewal terms, and usage limits may apply. Failure to pay may result in suspension. Unless otherwise stated, fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

9. Availability and Changes

We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service from time to time. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or continuously available.

10. Security

We implement reasonable measures to protect the Service. You are responsible for securing your devices and credentials, managing access for your users, and notifying us of any suspected unauthorized access.

11. Intellectual Property

All rights in the Service, including software, design, trademarks, and documentation, are owned by Wats or its licensors. These Terms grant you only a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service.

We may suspend, limit, or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, your use creates legal or security risk, required fees remain unpaid, or continued service is no longer feasible. You may stop using the Service at any time.

13. Disclaimer

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Wats disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and uninterrupted availability.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wats shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the Service during the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD 100, whichever is greater.
